The Bartlesville senior is a versatile player with excellent size. He can play power forward or slide into the paint and play center.
Bartlesville Bruin basketball coach Clent Stewart called Nick, “a big who can pop and shoot and block shots on the defensive end.”
We wanted to learn more about Smith and give this senior an opportunity for his own shoutout as the regular season comes to a close.
VYPE: Nick, tell us what you love most about your team and teammates at Bartlesville?
Smith: The thing I love most about my team is the chemistry we have.
VYPE: During your time in school, have you had a favorite teacher? From any grade.
Smith: My eighth grade science teacher Mrs. Miller because her class was fun and we always did labs.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Smith: My plans are to go to college at Oklahoma State University and major in business.
VYPE: What’s one of your favorite memories playing high school basketball?
Smith: Going to Texas for basketball and staying in hotels.
VYPE: Who is someone you expect to be a success right out of high school or someone who will show up at your ten-year reunion as the most successful person of your class?
Smith: Ridge Brewington.
VYPE: Here’s your chance to say hello, goodbye or thanks to anyone you wish.
Smith: Hey Carter!
