

Bartlesville High School junior Jessica Carithers is a member of the varsity soccer team and a player head coach Aaron Kuntz is expecting good things from this season.
Carithers and her teammates are excited for the upcoming season. VYPE Magazine wanted to learn more about this junior and why she loves the student-athlete life at Bartlesville High School.
VYPE: Jessica, how long have you played soccer?
Carithers: I’ve been playing soccer for 13 years.
VYPE: What does your team and teammates mean to you?
Carithers: They mean the world to me. I’ve met some of my best friends playing this game and I’m so grateful for the wonderful people I’ve met.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Bartlesville?
Carithers: I love everything about it. Being a student-athlete has taught me so many things. I’ve learned time management, commitment, teamwork, positivity, and so much more.
VYPE: Away from school, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Carithers: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
