Barrett Merciez – Bartlesville
Barrett is a junior this year and he will pitch this season. When he is not pitching he will be at shortstop and hitting in the middle of the lineup. Good kid with a bright future.
Jarrett Shambles – Copan
Jarrett has put in a lot of work and the improvement from his sophomore year to his junior year was huge for the team. He helped solidify the defense at shortstop and had a .493 batting average. Jarrett only struck out 4 times all season. He has the ability to hit for power while consistently putting the ball in play.
Nate Sloan – Dewey
A junior, Sloan is the hardest working kid on the team and he sets the standard for the other players to follow.
Tanner Dickson and Bodee West – Oklahoma Union
Tanner has been the team’s ace for the last two seasons. He is always in the weight room and trying to improve himself. He is successful in the classroom and is the best example of what a student-athlete should be. Bodee has been a solid defensive player for the Cougars. He is a multi-sport athlete and is also very active in AG and FFA. Bodee has a tremendous work ethic that pays off on the field and off of it especially in the classroom.
Canyon Hindman – Pawhuska
He is a great student athlete who leads by example on and off the field. He is a young man with a head on his shoulders and a great competitive attitude.
Slowpitch Softball
Bartlesville – Lexi Durao
Last year she led the team in average and home runs. She also drove in over 50 runs. She has signed to play at Grayson College next year. Lexi has a strong work ethic and she has become a great leader in the program.
Boys and Girls Soccer
Lily Weimer – Bartlesville Girls
Weimer is a senior keeper this year and will be looking to close out her high school career with a bang. In her previous seasons, Lily has gone above and beyond to be there for her team. She is an excellent example of what it means to be a leader and a great teammate. And she is willing to put up a fight for her team and is just as willing to offer a helping hand.
