VYPE: What are your personal goals this year and how is the season going?
Macie: My personal goal is to be a positive influence and a leader to my teammates. This season is going really well, we’re having a lot of success.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Macie: The most fun I’ve had in the last year was probably when we went to Main Event on our Putnam City trip in September.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Macie: My favorite teacher is my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Griffin. She really cared about her students and would do anything for us and made school fun.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Macie: My favorite athletic memory is probably when I was younger, and my team played six games in one day and ended up winning the tournament we were playing in. It was hard but it was also really fun.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Macie: The teammate that has left the biggest impact on me is Sydney Price, she’s graduated now but she was always there to give advice and be a leader.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Macie: I don’t know who’s the funniest person, I think there’s different people at different times so it’s not really just one person.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Macie: I would choose to go to the Caribbean, and I would probably bring my mom with me because It’s something we’ve always wanted to do.
VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Macie: I would honestly probably spend it on clothes.
