A name Bruins fans will not soon forget, Sami Sheaffer has signed with the University of Central Arkansas where she will continue her education and play basketball for the Sugar Bears.
A senior this year for the Lady Bruins, Sheaffer is a 6-foot-1 combo guard who checks a lot of boxes for the Sugar Bears. Last season as a junior, Sheaffer averaged 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game. She has the talent to be deadly on the offensive end and the determination to be a force on the defensive end of the court.
Ranked No. 13 in Oklahoma according to Prep Girls Hoops, Sheaffer is a former Newcomer of the Year, 2nd Team All-District, 2025 Pangos All-American and a two-time VYPE Top 100 selectee, placing her in the running for the title of Miss Basketball Oklahoma.
